Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and the developer of Quit Orbit (“we”, “us”) for your use of the Quit Orbit: Habit Breaker app (“Quit Orbit”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Quit Orbit.
1. Not medical advice
Stopping some substances, such as alcohol or certain drugs, can be dangerous without medical supervision. Talk to a healthcare professional before you begin.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Quit Orbit. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity on your account. Give accurate information, and tell us if you think your account has been used without permission. You can delete your account at any time from You → Delete account.
3. Free trial and Quit Orbit Pro
- Every feature is free for 7 days from the first time you open the app. After that, continuing to use Quit Orbit requires an Quit Orbit Pro subscription.
- Quit Orbit Pro is offered as weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, or from You → Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4. Your content
What you write in Quit Orbit (habits, notes and journal entries) belongs to you and stays on your device. Because we don't store it, we can't recover it if it is lost or deleted. Keep your own device backups if it matters to you.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse Quit Orbit: don't try to break, reverse-engineer, overload or get around its security or subscription checks; don't create accounts with false information or on someone else's behalf without permission; and don't use the app for anything unlawful.
6. Licence and ownership
We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Quit Orbit on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. The app, its design, planets, artwork and text are owned by us and protected by law. These terms add to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if the two conflict, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.
7. Third-party services
Sign-in uses Apple, Google and Google Firebase, and purchases go through Apple's App Store. Their own terms apply to your use of those services, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue features of Quit Orbit. We may also update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Quit Orbit after changes means you accept them.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Quit Orbit at any time by deleting your account and the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as disclaimers and limits of liability) still apply afterwards.
10. Disclaimers
Quit Orbit is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise that the app will help you quit a habit, or that it will always be available or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Quit Orbit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Quit Orbit in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of India, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring them locally.
13. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Quit Orbit or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
